Barcelona Wine Week 2025

Barcelona Wine Week 2025

If you love wine, Barcelona Wine Week (or BWW to its friends) is like Disneyland for winelovers. This event, held every year at Fira de Barcelona, brings together more than 1,000 wineries from all over Spain to showcase the best of the wine scene: from the classics that never let you down to the most innovative projects that are revolutionising the way we drink wine.

And, as true wine tourism explorers, we at Enolovers couldn't miss it. We covered every corner of the fair, tasted, chatted with producers and discovered the trends that will shape 2024. Spoiler: natural wines are making a big splash and wine tourism keeps on soaring.

Here's everything we took away from this year's edition.

Natural wines: the revolution no one can stop

If there's one thing BWW 2025 made clear to us, it's that natural wines are no passing fad. More and more wineries are betting on sulphite-free wines, spontaneous fermentations and minimal intervention, achieving purer, more authentic expressions of the grape.

The best part? These wines aren't just winning over the biggest wine geeks, they're also catching the eye of those looking for more sustainable, environmentally friendly options. Soil, vineyard and glass, with no chemical middlemen.

If you haven't tried a natural wine yet, 2025 could be your year. And yes, at Enolovers we already have experiences at wineries that make this kind of wine, because we know you're going to love them.

Wine and wine tourism trends coming on strong in 2025

Unique experiences, beyond the glass
Wineries are going all in on plans that go far beyond the traditional tasting: dinners among the vines, night-time harvests, tastings with live music or even wine yoga (yes, this exists and you have to try it).

Sustainability and organic wines
Respect for the land is key. More and more wineries are getting certified as organic, championing biodiversity and cutting out unnecessary chemicals.

Wine tourism goes digital
Booking winery experiences has never been so easy. And this is where we come in. At Enolovers we keep it simple so you can find your ideal plan, hassle-free.
