Interview with Blanca from Mont Reaga

Interview with Blanca from Mont Reaga

At Enolovers we love hearing the stories and anecdotes of the wineries we work with, and this time we had a chat with Blanca, who shared a couple of unforgettable, fun moments with us.

Bodega Mont Reaga, founded in 2003 by Rafael and Carmen, is located in Monreal del Llano, in the heart of the Land of Don Quixote. Surrounded by castles and Cervantine landscapes, this family winery stands out for its passion for the Syrah grape. Its name symbolises the richness of its surroundings, combining ‘Mont’ for the mountains and ‘Reaga’ for the fertile land.

With traditional La Mancha architecture, Mont Reaga offers a charming central courtyard where you can enjoy a glass of wine. Close to Belmonte and its windmills, it's an ideal wine tourism destination, with easy access from Madrid.

Here's her mini interview:

Enolovers: Blanca, what's the most curious or funny thing that has happened during an activity at your winery?

Blanca: During one of our guided tours, a young woman and a young man met here, fell in love, and are now happily married.

Enolovers: If you had to invite a famous person to the winery, who would it be and which wine would you give them to try?

Blanca: I'd invite Nuria Roca. From our whites I'd give her our barrel-aged Verdejo white, and from our reds the Gran Reserva Parcela 145, as they reflect Nuria so well thanks to their elegance, maturity and values.
